When the nerves that control the eyebrow become damaged it causes the patient to lose the ability to control his, or her eyebrow muscle. When eyebrow muscle control fails the person loses his ability to raise his eyebrows.
Another risk of having brow lift surgery includes complications along the length of the incision. Brow lift surgery includes pulling back the skin and holding the skin in place. Sometimes because the skin is being pulled and stretched the incision can widen which causes complications along the incision.
Another risk involved with brow lift surgery is hair loss of the eyebrows. Sometimes when a person receives brow lift surgery the hair follicles that are in the incision become damaged. If the hair follicles become damaged the hair could possibly fall out.
